I am currently in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies. This department contains three majors that all are geared towards careers in the various fields of recreation and leisure. The majors include Recreation Management, Outdoor Adventure Leadership, and Therapeutic Recreation. There are also two minors in the department, and they are Recreation and Outdoor Recreation.

In that department, I am a Recreation Management major. This major focuses primarily on the business aspects of recreation and leisure. It is more suitable for those who wish to enhance the recreation an leisure experiences of others. With this degree I hope to someday own my own Canoeing and Kayaking store. However, for the time being, I am perfectly content with paddling around and working for someone else.
