iCAHP is a newly renovated student organization that actually began as the Health Policy & Management Association (HPMA) in 2002. HPMA was intended to unite students in the health policy major in educational settings, such as guest speakers, fundraisers and conferences aside from regular meetings.
iCAHP provides career services, information, and opportunities to those interested in health sciences, management, policy and administration. This is done through various community service projects and meetings with current healthcare professionals from around the area.
iCAHP offers membership to all those who are either currently enrolled in Health Policy Studies, Health Care Management, and/or Health Sciences majors and minors or who are interested in the subjects. Ithaca College students must comprise at least 51% of the student organization’s membership.
