What Your Astrological Sign Says About You!

I have been studying astrology for over two years now. I find that the abstract concept of the stars in the galaxy having to do with the fate of humans as very mystical and intriguing. I have never been very interested in reading my horoscope because I feel they are too universally applicable. In one newspaper my horoscope for the day will vary widely from what another newspaper says for the same day. However, I have seen a lot of truth in the personality of people through astrology. I have found that I can better understand how and why I act and feel the way I do. For example, I am an aquarius, whose major characteristic of being unusual and martyr, would incline me to be drawn to the idea of astrology. It also shows my desire to spread the wisdom I have found in astrology.

I believe that a person’s personality, communication style, and actions can be explained by their astrological sign. An astrological sign is a set of characteristics that are assigned to your personality based on what time of the year you are born. While the Sun sign (the major astrological sign that is most commonly talked about) has a strong impact on your personality, it is not the only deciding factor in your character traits. Surprisingly, there are other parts of your personality that are determined by less acknowledged signs, like the Moon sign, Venus sign, or Mars sign.

The different traits of the major Sun Signs, or Zodiac Signs, are below:
Aries (March 21- April 20): brash, brazen, vital, vivacious, spontaneous, a go-getter, wants to be the first, energized, assertive, competitive, and confident
Taurus (April 21- May 20): practical, reliable, likes stability and physical sensations, conservative, possessive, stubborn, and possesses innocents
Gemini (May 21- June 21): multi-tasker, good communicator, chaotic, disorganized, curious, versatile, and not fond of too much detail
Cancer (June 22- July 22): motherly, nurturing, very sensitive, protective, like to deal with things through emotions and feelings, feel strongly for their home
Leo (July 23- Aug 22): warm, generous, cheerful, loves attention and power, ambitious, confident, attention- hungry
