Welcome to my simple little page. My name is Jared Cowing, and I'm a junior composition major at the wonderful Ithaca College School of Music. I hope to become a composer for various media such as computer games, television, or perhaps one day even major films. My musical influence comes mostly from modern classical music and film music. My favorite composers include Bela Bartok, George Crumb, Claude Debussy, Benjamin Britten, John Adams, Joe Hisaishi (of 'Spirited Away' and 'Howl's Moving Castle'), and others.
